ABSTRACT

TPtool is a MATLAB Toolbox downloadable at “https://tptool.sztaki.hu” for implementing the algorithms of tensor product (TP) model transformation and the subsequent control system design. In this chapter, we will demonstrate the commands to generate the TP canonical form of a given quasi-linear parameter-varying (qLPV) model and incorporate the various types of convexities. The goal is to show how easily and readily applicable TPtool can be used to execute the TP model transformation and convex hull manipulation. More details of the commands are available through the command help in the TPtool. Algorithms dealing with the control system design will be demonstrated later via the application examples in the book.
