ABSTRACT
Although the coming sections might seem something of a mathematician’s playground, they are extremely useful for getting an understanding of underlying principles of functions of time and the way that dynamic systems affect them. In fact, many of the issues of convolution can be much more easily be explored in terms of discrete time and sampled systems, but first we will take the more traditional approach of infinite impulses and vanishingly small increments of time.
