ABSTRACT
It is unwise, to say the least, to try to differentiate a signal. Some devices that claim to be differentiators are in fact mere high-pass filters. A true differentiator would have to have a gain that tends to infinity with increasing frequency. Any noise in the signal would cause immense problems.
