ABSTRACT
The sampling of continuous signals at periodic intervals has become a very important practical, as well as an important mathematical operation. One of the main concerns when signals are sampled is the accuracy with which the sampled signal is represented by its sampled values. Also, what type of a signal is to be used and what the sampling interval should be in order to achieve an optimum recovery of the original signal from the sampled values needs to be determined.
