ABSTRACT
Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) has been one of the most successful technologies in the recent years. It is a fact that it has been deployed everywhere: companies, educational institutions, airports, cafeterias, homes, and so on. Also, in the press it is frequently reported that the government of a city is to commence a project to offer public Internet access by using WLAN technology.
