ABSTRACT
The explosive growth of Internet Protocol (IP) networks capable of providing sophisticated convergent services based on multimedia applications has increased the development of new services as an alternative to traditional communication systems. In this way, the service convergence is growing under an IP-based provisioning framework and controlled mainly by lightweight application level protocols like Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) [1].
