ABSTRACT
Most nanotechnology workforce training programs are being developed as two-year community college or technical college programs, or a combination of both. Very few states have addressed workforce education of technicians that addresses the needs of companies moving past start-up phase into full manufacturing. This involves stage one, composites and materials for enhancement of products in the marketplace, to stage two, devices and fabrication of products for manufacturing.
