ABSTRACT
The current required by motors, lights, and computers is made up of real and reactive components. This concept of a twocomponent current is helpful in understanding the capacitor current. Loads such as a heater require the supply of only the real component of current. Some loads, such as an induction motor, require both real and reactive currents [1].
