ABSTRACT

Thermal radiation serves as an essential ingredient for the formation of life in the cosmos Thermal radiation represents a finite region of the electromagnetic spectrum. Thermal radiation is the transfer of energy by electromagnetic waves, which have a range of wavelengths. One example of thermal radiation heat transfer is that of energy transfer between the Sun and the Earth. Thermal radiation is the electromagnetic radiation emitted by a body as a result of its temperature. The propagation of thermal radiation takes place in the form of discrete quanta. Thus the heated interior surface of an enclosure produces a certain energy density of thermal radiation in the enclosure. The thermal radiation energy exchange from a surface is related to its temperature. The Sun supplies an inexhaustible amount of solar thermal energy to the universe. The flat-plate solar collector is the basic device used in solar heating and cooling systems.
