ABSTRACT

Home automation provides the power to control several devices at home from a mobile device anytime, anywhere. It not only refers to outlying programmable units, such as thermostats and sprinkler systems, but also more accurately describes homes in which almost every appliance such as the electrical outlets and heating, lighting, and cooling systems is attached to a network that is remotely controllable. From a home security perspective, this includes smoke detectors, windows, alarm system, automatic doors, locks, surveillance cameras, and any other sensors that are connected to it.
