ABSTRACT
In this chapter some assorted examples covering slot leakage inductance of rotating electrical machines, transformer leakage inductance and theory of hysteresis machines are discussed. Modelling of fields for a potentially new type of single-phase induction motor with composite poles is also presented. This chapter also describes the electromagnetic transients in solid conducting plates due to current and voltage impact excitations.
