The book’s conclusion reiterates an oft-repeated theme: in the acting profession, there are few rules, and few absolutes. Readers are encouraged to cultivate their curiosity, do their own research, find their own methods, become their own experts, and be humble enough to remember that no one knows everything. In fact, the authors state, even the advice contained herein should be rejected when it doesn’t work for you.
The authors close with reminding the reader that, as overwhelming as the acting profession can sometimes be, as unfair, as frustrating, as competitive, as insecure, it is still a very fine line of work.
