Yes, you are working in a service profession and you should be proud of that. However, be careful about becoming a martyr. Caring about and serving others doesn’t mean you should have no personal boundaries. If you say no to the requests of others now and then, you are not an uncaring person. You are simply a normal human being who, to remain healthy, needs alone time, family time, “off” time.
