ABSTRACT

By word of mouth the groups upstairs and downstairs kept growing. Before long we had outgrown our home. February 29, 1984, we moved into a house on the periphery of Warner Pacific College campus where almost immediately we began a second Sons and Daughters Group (loss of parent, grandparent, primary care person) and began the first Sibs and Friends Group (loss of sibling or best friend). We had room to expand and also have ofice space. The college allowed us use of the gym for expending the kids’ excess energy and the auditorium for trainings of our volunteer facilitators and for workshops.
