ABSTRACT

The reason for writing this book is to assist classroom teachers in their continual quest of becoming quality teachers. The quest is truly continual because what constitutes a quality classroom teacher is the fact that he/she is continually improving his/her performance by updating, experimenting, discussing, and perfecting improved techniques. This book is designed to build an understanding of what constitutes quality classroom management, why there is a need to focus on quality and have it become the basic outcome of student performance in both social and academic learning, and how to incorporate quality learning as part of the everyday classroom experience.
