ABSTRACT

As I became familiar with Dr. Deming's philosophy and his techniques to incorporate quality into the industrial complex, I realized that I had spent minimal time contemplating quality on either a personal or professional level. I experienced my personal and professional worlds, liked what I did in both, received personal fulfillment, but seldom reflected on particular experiences as quality equated. I became more aware of my personal non-judging attitude, and realized that I was missing out on an opportunity to enrich my life by not having decided upon quality qualifiers.
