ABSTRACT
From early 1993 to mid-1995, 1 was UNOPS Area Manager for a UNDP-funded rehabilitation program executed by UNOPS in a war-torn country. My job was to manage a team of three internationals and approximately 25 national professionals, engineers, doctors, agronomists, water engineers, gender experts, and support staff.
