ABSTRACT

Miriam is a 60-year-old woman full of energy. She works in the Prosecutor’s Office as a Victim Witness Program Coordinator. She is married and has 12 children. She lives in the city and walks a few blocks to work each day. Her husband is a retired civil servant. Miriam has snow-white hair and caring blue eyes. She is very patient and listens intently to what you have to say. She firmly believes in supporting homicide survivors but not enabling them. She explains enabling as allowing the homicide survivor to “wallow in self pity.”
