ABSTRACT
In the days and weeks after the funeral, many visitors came by. Some were close friends; others were people who had known Dick in the various avenues of his life and wanted to pay their respects. Although I always appreciated the kind words and was usually glad for the company, it was stressful to meet new people at that time.
