Singing in Evangelicalism along Scotland’s North-East coast and in the Northern Isles

This concluding chapter signals a return to the initial research questions outlined in Chapter 1, and attempts to answer each one of them in full by drawing on different subject matter found throughout the book. Discussing the music and singers, and their function and role in the community, repertoire, context and singing style, the chapter concludes with a discussion of the current ethnographic research being conducted in the area, and areas which would benefit from future research.
