A return to the collective aspect of religious freedom? Different religious perspectives on the construction of law

The right to religious freedom has not been at the center of initiatives by states or international organizations only. Religious groups have also offered material rethinking the scope and the structure of this right. This chapter analyzes the developments influenced by Islam, Russian Orthodoxy, and American Catholicism, highlighting a growing return to a collective and institutional understanding of the right to religious freedom.
