ABSTRACT

There are a lot of companies developing greener products and marketing the greener aspects of these products. Businesses boast of significant sales from these eco-innovative goods. To understand the best techniques and processes used to make greener products, we will evaluate the practices of leading companies; in the end, we will determine which elements are the most common for success. I chose the companies in this study based on their notoriety for exemplary greener product programs; these are the firms I have looked to for benchmarking purposes during my career.

Some of the companies that have outstanding greener products that were evaluated using case study analysis are: Ecomagination™, Timberland’s Green Index®, SC Johnson GreenList™, Clorox Green Works®, Philips, Samsung Electronics, Apple, Inc., Seventh Generation, Method, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, DuPont, BASF, and Johnson & Johnson.
