ABSTRACT
A first-grade teacher meets with her students in the morning with a three-column analytic rubric printed in large letters on flipchart paper, the columns being “I Am Working On It,” “I Did It!” and “I Did It And….” She uses this opportunity to review the rubric for their problem-based task about how frogs, turtles, and fish can help people.
