ABSTRACT
There are two different design answers to the challenge of extracting energy together from waves and wind. The first option is the sharing space concept, where several individual devices (wave and wind energy converters and even other uses) are installed in the same area, sharing space and logistics. The second option is the sharing structure concept, where the same structure or platform houses different uses or energy harvesting technologies. These structures are known as Multi-Use Platforms (MUP).
