ABSTRACT
The field of membrane science is rapidly growing. The immense possibilities of using membranes in every possible field have many people interested in them. This results in regular advancements and developments in membrane materials, processes, technology, and applications. Therefore, it is important to have a look into the most recent and astonishing developments in the field of membrane science. This chapter explains the current developments in the field ranging from health to military, such as development made in artificial organs, smart textiles, and military warfare. The various improvements in membrane materials, processes, and novel applications for their effective and efficient use in these fields are discussed in detail.
