ABSTRACT

For every plant and animal, transportation is among the greatest necessities for survival and to reproduce and sustain the species. The natural movements of air and water in the environment feed a passive plant with sunshine, carbon dioxide, water, and minerals. The oldest carts and ships have frames that are made of wood, which are later replaced by bronze and steel. Wood is a good material to build frames of vehicles as they are readily found in forests and can be felled, sawed, and joined together with ropes or nails. They are light enough to float on water, but can bear weight and flex, and survive light impacts. Bronze chariots have many advantages over wooden chariots. The Bronze Age is commonly considered to be 3300-1200 BC in the Middle East, which replaced the older Stone Ages. The Iron Age followed when it was discovered that iron ores are abundant on the surface of the earth and can be found everywhere.
