ABSTRACT
Chemistry is the basis of everything in people's life. Without its benefits, people would be back in the Stone Age. Unfortunately, for the average person, comforts of life such as auto, refrigerator, radio, televisions, or cell phones, which were made possible by chemical developments, are taken for granted. The lack of recognition of the many achievements of chemistry improving people's life is of major worldwide concern because it has serious effect on the future of chemistry. Any increase or decrease in the public image of chemistry has similar direct effect on the quality of their life. The decline in the image of chemistry created more and more problems for chemical research and developments. Organizations both in the United States and abroad became very concerned about the future of chemistry. Chemistry is very important for the economic growth of a nation.
