ABSTRACT
In Chapter 1, several building blocks or bricks of the complex systems-based management model for operational excellence were cited. In this and several subsequent chapters, these will be elaborated brick-by-brick. Once this process is complete, our bricks will be assembled into an initial model, after which some of its most critical components will be elaborated more fully. Finally, the correlation of this initial model with the Shingo Model will be addressed.
