ABSTRACT
The ultimate weapons are weapons of mass destruc-
tion (WMDs). CIOs must sometimes combine massive
manipulation with massive power to achieve a force
multiplier effect and create a cataclysmic weapon. The
use of such weapons in the world of warfare requires
a Wolf CIO with a healthy appetite for risk and an ex-
ceptional degree of control. The tactics described here
scale up even further than our previous extreme tac-
tics, by going outside the enterprise, to the board or the
public, or outside of traditional leadership mindsets to
amplify the CIO’s Machiavellian abilities even farther.
