ABSTRACT
Several months after buying a new house, I realized I needed to change the water filter on my refrigerator. Rather than taking the time to drive to the store, I decided to order a new filter online. Numerous sites offered the correct filter, including the appliance manufacturer’s Website and several online appliance stores. Before ordering, I thought I’d check to see if the item was available from Amazon.com. Lo and behold, not only was the filter available at a lower price, but because I subscribe to Amazon Prime, there was no charge for shipping.
