ABSTRACT
Eleanor Hoague has always thought of law and social justice as intertwined. Her father was the president of the Washington chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union. He practiced civil rights and immigration law as well. She and her sisters grew up admiring his work and the influence it had on the community. Eleanor, in particular, saw law as a way to do good in the world.
