ABSTRACT
Usability theorists describe how websites should be constructed. They base
their descriptions on assumptions that may or may not be true. Usability theory,
however, is neither new, nor about digital content. Usability is applied to all
products, including websites. It is applied to spoons, doors, and supersonic
aircraft-pretty much anything.
