ABSTRACT
Firstly, the consumption level is high and increases quickly. The total amount of energy consumption of Beijing is just second to Shanghai. As the second largest city of high energy consumption, its total amount of energy consumption was about 58.5-65 million tons of standard coal in 2010. It is predicted that Beijing will consume 11,000 gigawatts of electricity, 11 billion cubic meters of gas, and 600 thousand of liquefied petroleum gas by 2020.
