ABSTRACT

This thematic analysis is one out of seven prepared within the framework of the PaYPiRD project. It asks: “How far can policies addressing the integration of young people into employment tackle social exclusion?” The objective of the development of this theme is to assess the impact of programmes and policies under the national employment action plans (NAPs) of the seven countries participating in this research and their impact on young people. These NAPs have been designed and implemented in response to policy guidelines established within the framework of the European Employment Strategy (EES).
