ABSTRACT
Throughout this part (and in the chapter above) it is evident how different the eve ryday lives, worlds of work and retirement pensions of men and women actually still are - and probably will remain for several decades. In the first chapter of this part on “Recent Pension Reforms - and their Impact on Women”, this context was sketched, using multiple cross-references to the appendix to Part IV. Before looking at pensions, let us for one moment longer focus on the changing world of female work and living conditions.
