ABSTRACT
In Greek mythology, Agamemnon is the son of Atreus and Aerope, King and Queen of Mycenae. He is the brother of Menelaus and the husband of Clytemnestra, who bore him four children: Iphigenia, Chrysothemis, Electra, and Orestes. He was the King of Mycenae, who led the Greek forces during the Trojan War. There are essentially three events that concern him: the Trojan War,1 the sacrifice of his daughter Iphigenia,2 and his death at the hands of his wife Clytemnestra and her lover Aegisthus.3
