ABSTRACT
Scholars who have occasion to examine large numbers of manuscripts in search of a particular text will do well to keep a watch for unexpected pieces that may turn up along the way. Collections of medieval manuscripts are serendipity country par excellence, and there is no telling what treasure may be encountered.
