ABSTRACT
The free form glazed wall of the ante room, porter’s flat and office remind us of the foyer treatment to Stirling’s Sheffield University competition entry of 1953. As on that occasion the forms are glazed, and, as at Sheffield, the forms exist in a subtle interplay with the ensemble, contrasting directly with the solid tiled wall of the outer face of the building.
