ABSTRACT
The noosphere is the first entity we know of which is completely distinguishable from the physical universe as we know it. The study of the noosphere is our key to understanding the needs of posterity and how best to contribute to posterity's well-being. It is humanity's most important invention as its products could outlast us as a species and justify our having existed at all. Books, newspapers, films, discs, websites and broadcasts already document our noospheric activity. Mankind, born on this planet and spread over its entire surface, has come gradually to form around its earthly matrix a single, major organic unity, enclosed upon itself; a single, hyper-complex, hyper-centred, hyper-conscious arch-molecule, co-extensive with the heavenly body on which it was born. The intercommunicative aspect of the noosphere is the active part which consists of the day-to-day activity of people communicating with each other at every level.
