ABSTRACT

This chapter presents a game that requires teams to adopt a logical approach to their work, as well as a clear definition of what constitutes a route. If teams work out for themselves the easiest definition, in which a route is defined as moving from left to right down the map and visiting a unique combination of four locations, there are 56 combinations. The team with the greatest number of accurate routes is the winner. In another game, teams are asked to produce a modern version of the Bayeux Tapestry, depicting their achievements over the past few months or whatever time they have worked together. This is presented on a flip chart to the remainder of the course. It is a creative way of making teams review their own development at work over a period of time.
