ABSTRACT
In this chapter we look at some of the misconceptions about taskcentred practice and relate these to a better understanding of the scope of task-centred work. We review what the research suggests clients value and how task-centred practice measures up to this. In conclusion, we summarize the essential aspects of the task-centred model.
