ABSTRACT

Throughout the survival ordeal, whatever challenges you are faced with such as finding shelter, building fires and dealing with the injured, you must always be aware of potential rescue attempts. Never assume that rescuers will come to you. As in a survival at sea situation, rescuers may be aware of your position; that does not mean that they will be able to find you immediately. Keep in mind all the incidents that have been outlined in this book and difficulties rescuers have had in finding survivors. You must help them all you can.
