ABSTRACT
I must commend M.A. Anees for his rather sweeping conceptual study 'What Islamic Science is Not'.1 Only analytical works of the kind presented by the author can be of any use at this stage of conceptual elaboration of Islamic Science rather than the vague, selfserving and unfalsifiable works of which we have seen legions in the past. It is thus fitting that it appears in the MAAS Journal.
