ABSTRACT
Helsinki occupies an exceptional position in this study. The city’s most successful football club - HJK - cannot be rated among such European top clubs as FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Feyenoord (Rotterdam) and Juventus (Turin). Nevertheless, the capital o f Finland has been selected as object of a case study for several reasons.
