ABSTRACT

Sensing from space can provide data invaluable for many purposes,1 ranging from archaeology2 to meteorology3 (infra), to disaster management (infra), environmental4 and other monitoring,5 to the policing of agreements,6 not to mention cartography and the delimitation of international boundaries.7 Sensing
