Inthepreviouschapterwedescribedthenatureoftheradical humanistparadigm.tracingitsbroadlineofdevelopmentandthe wayinwhichitsbasictenetsarereflectedincontemporaryschools ofthought.Asaparadigmwithinthecontextofsocialtheoryasa wholeitmusthavesomerelevanceforthestudyoforganisations. butasyetitisalmostcompletelyunexploredfromthispointof view.•Weintendtoargueherethatiftheimplicationsoftheradical humanistparadigmaredevelopedinrelationtothestudyoforganisations.theresultwillbeananti-organisationtheory.Sincethe radicalhumanistperspectivestandsinfundamentaloppositionto thatofthefunctionalistparadigm,reflectingacompleteinversion ofassumptionsaboutthenatureofscienceandofsociety.antiorganisationtheorywillstandinfundamentaloppositiontocontemporaryorganisationtheory.
