CHAPTER 5 Six Sigma Toolbox Introduction The Six Sigma methodology uses an extensive array of process analysis and improvement methods and practices. These are called Six Sigma tools. Most of the tools are not new and were developed in the past five decades. However, the way some of the tools are applied within the Six Sigma methodology differs from their traditional use.
