Do hereby certify that we have agreed to the following articles of treaty
Art. 1. The commanding o‚cer of His britannic Majesty’s Sloop the Rover cannot consider the Island of Iceland as neutral during the present war between Denmark & Great Britain, yet he gives his word for himself, O‚cers and Ships company not to act in an hostile manner against the Island of Iceland during his present3 Stay on the coast, and to respect private property as well as public Institutions.
