ABSTRACT

In this chapter the case studies will be reviewed to attempt to evaluate the potential for improvement they display. By identifying some of the learning, it will point to the issues that need to be resolved for successful development of shared services. The evidence of Chapters 4, 5 and 6 is that there are a great variety of routes available for the sharing of services. The case studies demonstrate that it is possible to share almost every service to a greater or lesser extent.
