ABSTRACT

The moment cloning was announced, immediately and intuitively the world recognized this as a theological issue. It is more than just science. It is more than just a new technological discovery. It is more than just an occasion for jokes about the name 'Dolly' or, as found in the announcement appearing with the picture of two sheep on the cover of Time, 'Will There Ever Be Another You?' (read ewe). This science raises religious questions, and the ambient anxiety raises ethical ire.
